Gregory M. Thomas, MD
Dr. Gregory Thomas is a board certified Family Physician. He joined Keizer Family Physicians in February 1986. Dr. Thomas, a native of Bend, Oregon, did his undergraduate work at Oregon State University and from there earned his medical degree at the University of Oregon, (which was later renamed Oregon Health Science University). He served his internship and residency training at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. He served two years with the National Health Service Corps in Salem. He then worked as a family doctor in the government-sponsored West Salem Clinic for two years, where he met Dr. Jay Jamieson.
Dr. Thomas lives in Salem and is married to Heidi Thomas, M.D., whom continues to practice in Salem. They have five children, four boys, and one girl. He enjoys photography and astronomy.
Jay A. Jamieson, MD
Dr. Jay Jamieson is a board certified Family Physician. He joined Keizer Family Physicians in March 1987. Dr. Jamieson did his undergraduate work at Willamette University and from there he earned his medical degree at Northwestern University in 1980. His residency was completed at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He served two years with the National Health Service Corps in Salem, where he met Dr. Greg Thomas. In 1986 Dr. Jamieson spent a year working in the Philippine Islands as a medical missionary with his family and returned to Salem in 1987.
Dr. Jamieson lives in Salem and is married to Kelly Jamieson, who is a school teacher. They have five children, three boys and two girls, all grown. He enjoys playing with his grandchildren, fishing, wakeboarding, and running.
Julie A. Gilbert, MD
Dr. Julie Gilbert is a board certified Family Physician. She joined Keizer Family Physicians in February 1995. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Dr. Gilbert studied medicine at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She completed her residency in family practice at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Edgewood, KY in 1991, and worked in rural eastern Kentucky.
Dr. Gilbert lives in Jefferson and is married to Kenneth Gilbert. They have four children, three boys and one girl. She enjoys gardening, quilting and home schooling her children.
Heather Rollins, PA-C
Heather Rollins, P.A. joined Keizer Family Physicians as physician’s assistant in July 2008. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington in 1998, where she graduated magna cum laude. Following that she worked in San Clemente Medical Center in San Clemente, California as a medical assistant. She was then employed as an emergency room technician from 2000 to 2003. Then she went on to train for an additional two years to become a Physician’s Assistant at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After graduating in 2005, she worked in an urgent care setting in Fort Wayne.
Heather enjoys hiking, backpacking, photography, and kayaking.
